Community dialogues are a powerful way to engage families and strengthen partnerships between schools and communities. These structured dialogues/cafés invite parents, educators, and community members to discuss essential topics related to student learning, wellbeing, and support needed for future success.
Modeled after the Advancing Native Dialogues on Racial Equity(s), the dialogues and cafés help schools and families identify ways to work together to support student success.
Check out our dialogue website for more information. Inside, you will find example questions, agendas, and preparation materials. Reach out to AASB if you are interested in facilitation or the dialogue/cafe host training below (January 17-18, Juneau).
